GIVE DETROIT is a small, independent 501(c)(3) public charity focused on community-centered, tangible projects that strengthen neighborhoods across Detroit.

Seasonal drives providing warm clothing, blankets and essentials for neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Neighborhood Garden

Micro community gardens that supply fresh produce to low-income households and activate shared spaces.

Youth for Detroit

Volunteer and leadership experiences for local youth to serve, learn and lead in their own neighborhoods.

07:30 – 08:30 Check-in & welcome; volunteer tees and GIVE KIT pickup.
08:30 – 09:00 Opening remarks and day briefing.
09:00 – 12:00 Clean Up Detroit – neighborhood litter pick-up across the downtown area.
12:00 – 13:00 Community Lunch – a shared meal sponsored by local eateries.
13:00 – 15:00 Growing Together – mini community garden planting and greening workshop.
15:00 – 16:00 Give Talk – impact stories from Detroit neighbors.
16:00 – 17:30 Voices of Detroit – community music and live micro-fundraising.
17:30 – 18:00 Closing; announce funds raised; volunteer recognition.

Sign up for program days and the 2026 event. All ages welcome; minors accompanied by guardians.

In-kind Support

Donate warm clothes, blankets, seedlings, tools, or supplies for events and garden builds.

Give Financially

Every contribution—big or small—fuels neighborhood projects. Post-event transparency report will be published.
